(t’azur), a Takaful (Islamic Insurance) company founded by Unicorn Investment Bank and headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Bahrain Road Runners (BRR), have announced that the
t’azur Full Bahrain Marathon and Relay will take place on February 19th.
The marathon is the oldest running event in the Middle East and is already in its 33rd year regularly attracting athletes from Bahrain, the region and beyond. Runners can either run the full marathon distance (42.2km) or form teams, each member running a quarter (10.5km). The race will start on February 19th, at 07:00 am at the Novotel Hotel.

Bahrain Road Runners is a non- profitable organization that works under the umbrella of the Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) and is the oldest running club in the region. BRR is made from a mix of both fun and serious runners from beginners to advanced levels of training. BRR boasts a diverse mix of nationalities and cultures. They organize a wide range of running events from a 3 km run up to a full marathon - without forgetting cross-country runs – and the very popular Cross Island (coast to coast) Race.
